April 2023 - The History of Marks and Spencer

This month we had a guest speaker, Sue Floyd, who came to present a talk called "Don’t ask the price, it’s a penny" it was all about the history of Marks and Spencer's and how the company has developed to what it is today. It was a fascinating story from a steet vendor to the, international, multi-million company that it is today. There was a few members who enjoyed reminiscing about M&S as it used to be.
